HSR Training QLD Overview

The aim of this course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills for you to fulfill your role as the elected Health and Safety Representative and to meet the entitlement as prescribed by legislation.

In this course you will cover:

  • WHS legislative framework and key terminology
  • Duties of various stakeholders which can influence work health and safety
  • Enforcement measures available for breached of WHS legislation
  • The role of unions and WHS entry permit holders under the WHS act
  • Requirements for consultation, representation and participation on work health and safety issues in the workplace
  • The role of Health and Safety Representatives (HSR), Health and Safety Committee, and other authorised representatives
  • HSR’s powers including the issuing of Provisional Improvement Notices (PIN’s)

  • How long is the HSR Training valid for?

    You will be required to refresh your HSR training every 12 months.

  • Are there any prerequisites required for my HSR Training?

    Not at all.  We will teach you everything you need to know. 

  • How do I register for my HSR Training

    You can register here for the full course or register here for the refresher course for the upcoming course date of your choice.

  • Do you guarantee a pass for the course?

    We take safety very seriously here at Safetylec and for that reason we will only pass students who we deem as competent so passing is not guaranteed however, we will give you all the information and support you need.

  • What payment options are available?

    You can pay by cash, debit or credit card or bank transfer.
