The aim of this course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills for you to fulfil your role as a Fire Safety Advisor and to meet the entitlement as prescribed by legislation.

In this course you will cover:

  • Responsibilities of the Fire Safety Adviser
  • Emergency planning committee
  • Queensland Building Fire Safety Legislation
  • Emergency control organisations
  • Fire safety equipment in a building
  • First attack firefighting equipment
  • Emergency risk analysis strategies
  • Evacuation exercises
