UEECD0007 – Apply WHS Regulations, Codes and Practices in the Workplace

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is for any person who is working in an electrotechnology workplace who is required to assist in low voltage rescue.

PRE-REQUISITE

There is no pre-requisite for UEECD0007 – Apply WHS Safety Regulations.
However, UEECD0007 – Apply WHS Safety Regulations is a mandatory requirement for UETDRMP007 – Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel.

OBJECTIVES

On successful completion of this training participants will:

Able to enter an electrotechnology workplace
Identify appropriate regulations and code of practice
Identify access permits and safe work methods
Identify tools and equipment for an electrotechnology workplace
Understand the correct PPE requirements
Understand procedures for dealing with accidents
Understand risk management in an electrotechnology workplace.

Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment
