WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All persons with work activities related to a confined space including those who:
- Perform confined space assessments and/or issue written authorities;
- Design and layout the workplace;
- Manage and/or are responsible for the direct control of the work in confined spaces;
- Maintain equipment used for ensuring the safety of persons in the confined space;
- Provide, fit, wear and maintain personal protective equipment;

- Basic concepts of Work Health and Safety Legislation
- Identifying physical confined space hazards.
- Applying basic risk management concepts
- Assessment of risk, control of risk and evaluation of control measures as they apply to confined spaces.
- Applying the hierarchy of controls as they apply to confined spaces.
